Sonit Systems, an employee-owned IT solutions provider based in Archbold, Ohio, is looking for a relationship-oriented Account Executive to develop new and manage existing customer relationships within our target market.

Responsibilities include educating our clients on new and existing technologies relevant to their environment; gathering project-specific information from clients for use in developing solutions; providing long-term technology planning and direction; obtaining pricing from vendors and preparing proposals and quotes for solutions; registering and managing opportunities with product manufacturers; maintaining records of client activity in an accurate and timely manner utilizing our CRM system; monitoring work done for clients and following up to ensure satisfaction; maintaining thorough technical knowledge of products through internal and external training and by obtaining certifications as required by Sonit’s vendors; and performing new business development activities to expand Sonit’s current client base.


The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have proven experience in a sales role in addition to the following qualifications:

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills including the ability to present and explain complex technology-related issues in a clear and thorough manner
• Solid aptitude for business and interacting with all levels of technical and management personnel
• Motivation to serve and a genuine interest in helping others
• Highly organized, strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and a close attention to detail
• Strong technology skills, including experience with CRM software applications

Experience in a technology-related sales role is preferred.
